The Overlook provides for scenic viewing, picnicking and fishing. Facilities available include wheelchair accessible restrooms, concrete sidewalks, and a fishing dock with solid wood decking and handrails. There are also three large day-use picnic shelters that are wheelchair accessible and have tables that are designed for wheelchair accessibility. Cherryvale Park and Mound Valley Park have accessible shower/toilet buildings. Timber Hill Park, Cherryvale Park, and Mound Valley Park boat ramps have physically challenged accessible vault toilets. The boat ramps have walkways going to floating docks with concrete decking and handrails. These courtesy docks are for boaters, but fishing is allowed as long as incoming and outgoing boats are given priority.
