This is where you'll find copperhead snakes most often, in the shade hiding in leaves. The copperhead here can be found at the Skiatook Lake Office Nature Center. The public can swing by the lake office and visit the Nature Center where they will be greeted by several snakes, including a noisy timber rattler in the lobby.
