NOTICE OF “SMALL CRAFTS”

USE CAUTION WHEN TRANSITING NM 441.3 to NM 444.0

McCLELLAN-KERR ARKANSAS RIVER

NAVIGATION SYSTEM, OKLAHOMA

The University of Tulsa Women’s Rowing Team will be hosting the Tulsa Fall Invitational Regatta on November 1st and 2nd.    

During this racing event, there will be a large number of small craft in a concentrated area within the navigation channel.  Approximate location, the race course is marked between NM441.3 (Timber Ridge Green day beacon) and NM444.0.  Safety Launches monitor channel 16 closely for barge traffic moving into the area and suspend racing anytime a tow is visible, all rowing crews will move to the shore and wait for the vessel to pass safely. 

Mariners are advised to use extreme caution when transiting this area during the event times are listed below:

Tulsa Fall Invitational Regatta                 Friday 01 November 2019 from 1430-1730

                                                                     Saturday 02 November 2019 from 0800-1030
