NOTICE OF POTENTIAL DELAYS DURING INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES

WEBBERS FALLS L&D No. 16, NM 368.9

McCLELLAN-KERR ARKANSAS RIVER

NAVIGATION SYSTEM, OKLAHOMA

Mariners can expect delays at Webbers Falls L&D No. 16 from 7 April through 8 April 2021 due to lock chamber Miter Gate inspections.  Major Maintenance crews will perform inspections from the hours of 0800-1700 daily.  Mariners can expect delays of up to 6 hours while inspections are ongoing.

All work is expected to be completed as scheduled.  However, unforeseen issues could require additional time.  Waterway users are asked to check with Lock No. 16  for the latest information.  Questions or request for additional information concerning this notice should be directed to Mr. Robert Steiner; Navigation Operation Manager:  918-607-0952 or Mr. Vic Heister; Navigation Field Engineer:  918-669-7244.


Recreational Lockage Policy

Locking at 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 on the Oklahoma portion of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System is available to recreational boaters 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
