Tulsa District Volunteer Opportunities

The Tulsa District, Corps of Engineers, utilizes the energy and enthusiasm of individuals and organizations to assist with opportunities that might not get accomplished if not for the generous efforts of volunteers.

There are volunteer opportunities at 32 Tulsa District lakes within 268 Corps managed recreation areas for people of all ages and abilities

Some of the opportunities include: 

◾Serve as campground hosts

◾Improve accessibility of recreation area

◾Maintain facilities

◾Plant flowers, shrubs and trees

◾Write or edit materials for publications

◾Design layouts of bulletin boards

◾Build and install artificial fish habitat

◾Restore wildlife habitat

◾Build and install nesting structures

The opportunities are endless!

 

Individuals and groups of all ages are welcome to volunteer at any of our Tulsa District lakes.

Applicants under 18 must have parental or legal guardian consent. Volunteers are limited only by their willingness to serve. You may work full time or just a few hours each week. You will receive a general orientation as well as training specific to your needs.
