Notice:
As of January 1, 2007,
the Corps of Engineers is not authorized to process applications for new or replacement
Golden Access or Golden Age Passports.
Starting
Jan. 1, the Congressionally approved "America the Beautiful – the
National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass Program” began
and this program does not include the Corps of Engineers as an authorized distributing
agent for the new "Senior Pass" and "Access Pass".

Although the Corps of Engineers
no longer issues these national passports, the recreation discounts still apply to the recreation camping and day use fees charged at recreation
areas managed by the Corps of Engineers. Both provide 50% discount on all recreation fees charged at any recreation area
administered by the Federal Government.
Where
to Get the Passes?
Office
hours generally are weekdays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. but vary.
Call ahead for more information.

Passes
should be available at any National Park Service, USDA Forest Service, Fish
and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation park
and many of their office locations.
