The KC-46A is the Air Force's next generation aerial refueler. The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will oversee design and construction of maintenance and support facilities for the new refueler at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

A Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) mobile launcher sits on display in the new Lt. Gen. C.J. LeVan THAAD Instructional Facility at Fort Sill, Okla. Jan. 23 during the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony. The facility will graduate 200 THAAD-qualified student a year for the three THAAD batteries now on active duty with a fourth expected later this year.

LeVan Terminal High Altitude Area Defense Instructional Facility, Jan. 23. The $27 million dollar facility will train approximately 200 students a year on the THAAD weapon system.

After months of searching, a negative from the archives of the Museum of the Great Plains in Comanche, Okla. was discovered and was used to create drawings needed to rebuild the bandstand on Fort Sill, Okla.

Picture is Tulsa North - U.S. Army Career Center located in Owasso, Okla. The Tulsa District Real Estate Division is responsible for the U.S. Armed Forces Recruiting Facilities Program in Oklahoma. This program serves all branches of the military including Army, Navy, Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Marines Corps, Air National Guard, and Army National Guard. The Tulsa District currently manages 65 leases supporting the recruiting mission within Oklahoma.
