The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District (USACE), is proposing the construction of an elevated storage tank (EST) and high service pump station (HSPS) for the City of Midwest City (non-federal sponsor) in Midwest City, OK. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District has prepared the Draft EA to identify, evaluate, and disclose all impacts that would result from the implementation of the Proposed Action Alternative to address low pressures in the southeastern portion of the water distribution system in Midwest City.
The USACE has prepared a National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) document to disclose the potential adverse and beneficial impacts to environmental and cultural resources in the study area associated with the Proposed Action Alternative of constructing an EST and HSPS in Midwest City, OK, as well as the impacts of the “No Action” Alternative.
Our office would like to solicit any input you may have on the study area, and the Proposed Action Alternative. A 30-day public comment period on the Midwest City Water Infrastructure Improvements Project will begin Friday, March 20, 2026 and end Sunday April 19, 2026. We invite you to submit comments on the project through project’s website starting March 20, 2026 at the following link:
