    High water impacts to Tulsa District Corps recreation areas

    The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today a list of temporary recreation closures due to high water from recent rain events in the district. This list will be updated as needed. Visitors should note that this is a dynamic situation and this information could change within a few hours depending upon rainfall. It is best to call the lake office to check on campsite and boat ramp availability or go to before going to the lake.
  • New boat ramp ready, other facilities almost complete at tornado-damaged area of Canton Lake

    The newly constructed boat ramp and parking area in the Canadian Day Use Area of Canton Lake is open for use. The ramp is longer and deeper than other ramps at the lake and should be usable for most boat launching, even if the lake level approaches a record low.

    Status Update from the Tulsa District Commander: 2013 Federal Government Shutdown

    The federal government shutdown is now in its second week. The Tulsa District Public Affairs Office receives several notes and phone calls daily highlighting the local impacts associated with the temporary closure of many of our recreational facilities. We fully acknowledge these negative effects and do appreciate your many concerns.
