TD 2024-6.1, Highway 62 Bridge Work, Intermittent Closures

NOTICE OF INTERMITTENT CLOSURE DUE TO OVERHEAD BRIDGE WORK

Due to equipment issues, the original channel closure for the Highway 62 bridge fit up has been moved to 25 through 26 July as follows:

               25 July, 0700 to 1930 Channel Closed

               26 July, 0700 to 1930 Channel Closed

The channel will be reopened to traffic nightly from 1930 to 0700, however, if the fit-up process is not completed by sunset, channel closure will remain throughout the night while the crane suspends the load.

Additional intermittent delays may be experienced from 0700 to 1900 daily from July 29th through 31st as construction crews complete the fit-up process. Recreational Lockage Policy

Locking at 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 on the Oklahoma portion of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System is available to recreational boaters 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
