NOTICE OF LOCK CLOSURE
NEWT GRAHAM L&D No.18, NM 421.5


Newt Graham Lock and Dam 18 is closed until further notice. Crews are actively working to make repairs to a broken sector gear arm but the lock will need to remain closed. 

There are uncertainties in the amount of time it will take complete their work. Mariners are advised to stay up to date with the latest information and be advised further Navigation Notices will be released with all updates and changes. Recreational Lockage Policy

Locking at 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 on the Oklahoma portion of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System is available to recreational boaters 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
