  • Corps to implement new water quality release plan to conserve water at Skiatook Lake

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, announced today the implementation of a new Skiatook Lake water quality release plan, which began March 3, to provide more flexibility in discharges of water while maintaining downstream environmental protection and water quality standards.

  • Two western Skiatook boat ramps to temporarily close

    The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today the temporary closure of two boat ramps and the placement of new buoys on the west end of Skiatook Lake at Twin Points and Hominy Landing recreation areas due to low water levels brought on by the continuing drought.

  • Roadway over Pine Creek Dam to close for repairs

    The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that the roadway across the Pine Creek Dam embankment, Tommy Taylor Trail, will close to traffic at 8:00 a.m., Monday, February 2, 2015 for modification of the dam and outlet works. The bridge will reopen approximately May 2016.

  • State Highway 100 bridge over Tenkiller Dam to reopen Saturday

    TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that SH-100 Bridge over Tenkiller Dam will be open to traffic by 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 24.Detour signs will remain in place until Monday, Jan. 25 but both lanes of SH-100 will be open for traffic.The SH-100 bridge, which is located eight miles north of Gore, Okla. in
