The Tulsa District supports the Operation War Fighter and VA Vocational Rehabilitation program(s). The District has positions which are non-paid or paid by the Veteran Administration Vocational Rehabilitation Program in every part of the District. Emergency Response  

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Emergency Management team stands ready to serve the nation during any disaster. When severe storms, floods, tornadoes, ice storms and/or other natural disasters strike the Nation, the Corps, along with federal, state and local agencies, is organized to respond quickly and efficiently to solve a broad range of technical and environmental challenges. The Corps provides temporary restoration of water supplies and wastewater treatment systems, drinkable water, ice, generators and temporary housing. The Corps removes debris, inspects structures and repairs damaged streets, bridges, ports, waterways, airfields and other facilities necessary for emergency access to disaster victims as well as provides flood-fighting materials. The Tulsa District has supported and continues to support other Divisions during hurricanes, and other natural disasters, just as we have fought floods in our own Division.  

The Field Force Engineering, or FFE program, is a way to leverage the expertise of USACE civilian technical experts to directly support the warfighters. Tulsa District has several distinct elements of FFE support. The district provides one of the Base Development Teams, or BDTs. This group remains within the district office to work on projects sent to the USACE Reachback Operations Center.  Another part of FFE is the group of Forward Engineering Support Teams (FESTs).  The FEST Team acts as a small deployable district office substitute and can provide command and control as well as administrative support to the combatant engineering mission.
