    Commander recognizes ranger training graduate

    A graduate of the Tulsa District Park Ranger Training Program was recognized in a ceremony Feb. 7 at the district headquarters. Ranger Jeff Walker, Skiatook Lake graduated the program, which is designed to manage recruitment for the district’s natural resource management program and prepare trainees to work as a park ranger.
  • Tulsa District commander participates on water panel

    Col. Michael Teague, Tulsa District commander, recently participated on a water panel during the Western States Land Commissioners Association winter meeting in Oklahoma City. Bob Portiss, Port of Catoosa director, and Steven Greetham, Chief General Counsel for the Chickasaw Nation Division of Commerce, also participated in the panel.

    Altus Air Force Base JP8 Fuel Line Reestablished

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District is scheduled to begin replacing a Jet Propellant 8 fuel line here that will increase ground refueling capabilities for KC-135 Stratotankers, Jan. 23.
