Corps fights flooding in Oklahoma, Texas
Aerial view of water being released from the Lake Eufaula Dam, May 13, 2015, at a rate of approximately 48,000 cubic feet per second. The flood control area behind the dam is normally kept empty. Currently, flood waters at the Lake Eufaula Dam, in Oklahoma are at 116 percent of capacity and operating over the flood pool into the surcharge pool.
