TULSA – The Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reduced the authorized gross weight of vehicles and trailers travelling on Old Mill Road over Marion Dam to six tons, November 29.

The Kansas Area Office began placing signs at each end of the structure this morning, to warn vehicles in excess of 6 tons not to cross Marion Dam.

Vehicles in excess of six tons may use Pawnee Road, which is located downstream of Marion Dam.
