TULSA, Okla.-  In an effort to keep Lake Eufaula stakeholders up to date on lake conditions, the Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, provides the following information:

Southwestern Power Administration (SWPA) projects January generation at 2,114 Mega Watt hours or 450 cubic feet per second on average.  SWPA operates Eufaula as part of a 17-lake interconnected system. Generation at Lake Eufaula is balanced with hydropower storage levels at the other hydropower lakes in the system.

Current pool elevation is 581.91 and fairly steady. Current level is three feet below the top of the conservation pool.  This level represents 79% of the conservation pool.   (Top of the conservation pool is 585.)

Current inflow into the lake is approximately 500 cubic feet per second. 

Current evaporation is approximately 0.09 inches per day or 210 cubic feet per second.

Current water quality release is 0 cubic feet per second.

Weekly forecast of the Lake Eufaula pool elevation is that it will slowly lower about 0.2 foot.
