Tenkiller Ferry Lake is 6.5 feet below normal

Published Jan. 19, 2011

TULSA — The lake level at Tenkiller Ferry Lake is 6.5 feet below normal due to lack of rain.

The current level of the lake is 625.49 feet above sea level and the normal conservation pool level is 632 feet above sea level.

Several boat ramps are still useable including Cato, Snake Creek Area I, Chicken Creek Campground, Cookson - west ramp, Elk Creek, Sizemore I and II, Strayhorn Campground, and Strayhorn Day Use Area.

Recreational users should be aware that low lake levels expose boating hazards that may have been submerged with normal water elevations and boaters are urged to use caution while boating and launching boats.
