TULSA, Okla. - In an effort to keep Lake Eufaula stakeholders up to date on lake conditions, the Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, provides the following information:
Southwestern Power Administration estimates weekly generation for October 23-29, 2011 at 140 Mega Watt hours, approximately 0.25 hour per day with all three hydropower units, equivalent of 145 cubic feet per second discharge on average. SWPA uses the hydropower production at Eufaula as part of a 17-lake interconnected system. Generation at Eufaula Lake is balanced with hydropower storage levels at the other hydropower lakes in the system. Current evaporation is approximately 0.25 inches per day, or 650 cfs, and there is no water quality release.
The daily power generation schedule can be found at:

Current pool elevation is 580.95, 4.05 feet below top of the conservation pool elevation of 585. This level represents 73.5% of the conservation pool filled.
Current inflow into the lake is approximately 1500 cubic feet per second. Weekly forecast of the Lake Eufaula pool elevation is that it will continue to slowly fall.
