Tulsa District announces changes to sales of Annual Day Use Passes and Navigation Charts

Published April 30, 2014

TULSA, Okla. — Effective May 1, 2014 the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tulsa District will discontinue the sale of Annual Day Use Passes and Navigation Charts from the District Headquarters at the walk-up window.

The annual passes will only be available for purchase at lake offices and at USACE Tulsa District park gate shacks.

Copies of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System charts will be available by mail through the USACE Little Rock District Public Affairs Office, Room 7403, 700 W. Capitol, Little Rock, AR 72203 for $12.00 if purchased in person or $17.00 if purchased by mail. Please include the following information when ordering charts by mail: Name, address, daytime phone number, and check or money order for $17.00 payable to: FAO USAED, Little Rock, and mail request to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, Attn: Map/Chart Sales, P.O. Box 867, Little Rock, AR 72203. http://www.swl.usace.mil/Library/ArkansasRiverNavigationChart.aspx

Individual pages of the chart book are available to view or print free of charge from the Tulsa District website: http://www.swt.usace.army.mil/Missions/Navigation/NavigationCharts.aspx.

The decision to discontinue the sales at the Tulsa District Headquarters resulted from a lack of personnel available to oversee sales and maintain the program at the district office, and the fact that the passes and charts are widely available at field offices.

The Tulsa District was one of the few remaining districts throughout USACE that continued to sell annual passes and navigation charts at the district office, but owing to budget considerations has had to end this service.

Information about Annual Day Use Passes is available on our website at: http://www.swt.usace.army.mil/Missions/Recreation/CampingandDayUseFees.aspx.

Phone numbers for Tulsa District Lake and Navigation Offices are available on our website at:http://www.swt.usace.army.mil/Contact/ContactaLake.aspx.
