TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces winter campground operations for John Redmond Reservoir.

Dam Site, which includes Dam Site North, Pin Oak, and the Sycamore area, will remain open through the winter operating season.

Three group shelters will remain available. The project office will turn off water to all sites, Nov. 3 but electrical hookups will remain available.

Riverside East and West will close to camping and vehicle traffic. The project office will close all waterborne restroom facilities but vault toilets will be available.

Otter Creek and its off-road area will remain open without any seasonal restrictions.

Fishing access is still open to the stilling basin. The gate across the road south of the Riverside West wing wall opened Nov. 1 to allow access to the courtesy dock located near Riverside West campsite number 37.

The old river channel boat ramp to the west of Riverside West will remain open as will both boat ramps in Dam Site.

All campgrounds remain open to foot traffic.
