TULSA — The fishing area on the north side of Eufaula Dam will close to public traffic, May 23 at 9 p.m. due to high water.

“With more rainfall expected and additional releases possible, we are going to close the area this evening out of concern for public safety,” said Craig Robbins, manager, Eufaula Lake Office, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. “We will reopen the area when conditions improve.”
