  • Hugo Lake sets, then breaks record low

    On October 11, 2012, Hugo Lake hit a record low level of 398.45. The previous low lake elevation of 398.46 was recorded in November 1978. The new record low didn’t last 34 years. In fact, it was broken on midnight, Oct. 14, when the elevation reached 398.36.
  • Corps, Oklahoma Department of Transportation sign agreement

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation signed a memorandum of agreement on Friday, Oct. 19 at the Tulsa District headquarters. Under the memorandum the Corps will provide a dedicated project manager to oversee reviews of regulatory permit applications submitted by ODOT for transportation projects. This position will be funded by the state agency.
