Sheryl Townsend is a natural resource specialist at the Tenkiller Ferry Lake Project Office. She has been with the Tulsa District more than 20 years.

Sheryl Townsend is a natural resource specialist at the Tenkiller Ferry Lake Project Office. Sheryl has been with the Tulsa District more than 20 years. She graduated high school in Bakersfield, Calif. in 1975 and attended college at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla. where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1982. I

In 2001, Sheryl attained a Master of Arts in Education Administration from Northeastern State University. Sheryl has three children and eight grandchildren.

What do you like most about your job?

I like the variety of work at the Corps.

What is the most challenging aspect of your work?

The most challenging part of the work is what I like most about it: the variety. It keeps you on your toes.

What do you like most about the Tulsa District?

The people in the Tulsa District are good people who are very professional.
