A new amphitheater at Canton Lake is completed and ready for use.
The new structure features tiered seating facing a small stage with a large white screen for movie projection. Outdoor lighting allows the facility to host day and night events.
The facility is located to the west of the Canton Lake Office and is a replacement for the amphitheater that was removed for construction of the auxiliary spillway. Visitors can access the facility by following the sidewalk up the hill from the lake office entrance. The lake office will accept applications from the public for programming.
Special use and special event requests may be submitted to the Canton Lake Office in-person, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or by phone at 580-886-2989.
