Public Meeting for Arkansas River Corridor Study

The Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in conjunction with Tulsa County will host an information meeting to answer questions regarding a proposed ecosystem restoration project in and along the Arkansas River at the Case Community Center in Sand Springs, Oklahoma Feb. 27 from 5 - 8 p.m.

No formal presentation will take place but the public is invited to attend and ask questions as representatives from the Corps of Engineers and Tulsa County will be on hand to answer questions regarding the recently released Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Assessment Arkansas River Corridor Feasibility Report.

The study area includes a 42-mile stretch of ecosystem along the Arkansas River from Keystone Dam to the Tulsa County and Wagoner County boundary.

The Arkansas River Corridor Feasibility Report and related documents are available on the Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers website at www.swt.usace.army.mil.

The Case Community Center is located at 1050 W. Wekiwa Rd, Sand Springs, OK 74063.
