TULSA, Okla. —The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District announces winter recreation operations for Marion Reservoir. A limited number of campsites in all campgrounds, and most boat launches will remain open through the winter season.
The winter operating schedule for Marion Reservoir campsites is as follows:

Hillsboro Cove Campsites 1-23 open year-round
Campsites 24-52 closed as of Oct. 20
Boat launch open year-round
French Creek All facilities open year-round
Marion Cove All facilities open year-round
Campsite water service will be turned off and water-borne restrooms will close Nov. 2. Vault restrooms will remain open and electrical service will remain on. Toilet facilities will not be available at Cottonwood Point.
Marion Reservoir campsites will not charge fees from Nov. 2 to April 9, 2015.
Sites are available on a first-come-first-served basis. All other regulations remain in effect, including the 14-day camping limit.
Seasonal closures align with the Corps of Engineers' efforts to manage recreation resources efficiently while minimizing negative impacts to visitors.
