State Highway 100 bridge over Tenkiller Dam to reopen Saturday

The barricades blocking traffic across  State Highway 100 bridge, which crosses Tenkiller Ferry Lake, will be removed Saturday, Jan. 24 by 7 p.m. The road has been closed since Oct. 14, 2014 for repairs to hatch covers on the roadway.

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that SH-100 Bridge over Tenkiller Dam will be open to traffic by 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 24.

Detour signs will remain in place until Monday, Jan. 25 but both lanes of SH-100 will be open for traffic.

The SH-100 bridge, which is located eight miles north of Gore, Okla. in Sequoyah County, closed to traffic Oct. 14, 2014 to allow for repairs on hatch covers on the road.
