McCLELLAN-KERR ARKANSAS RIVER NAVIGATION SYSTEM, OKLAHOMA

 

Newt Graham L&D No. 18, NM 421.6 will be closed to navigation traffic 24 April 2019 from 0800 to 1830. The Lock will be closed for replacement of the counterbalance valves and to repair piping leaks in the upstream Control Shelter. 

 

All work is expected to be completed as scheduled.  However, unforeseen issues could require additional time.  Waterway users are asked to check with Lock No. 18 for the latest information.  Questions or request for additional information concerning this notice should be directed to Mr. Kenneth Todd; Navigation Operation Manager:  918-687-4501 ext 2 or Mr. Vic Heister; Navigation Field Engineer:  918-669-7244.


Recreational Lockage Policy

Locking at 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 on the Oklahoma portion of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System is available to recreational boaters 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
