TD 2022-3, Chouteau L&D 17, Potential Hazard Downstream Guardwall Damage

NOTICE OF DAMAGE AND POTENTIAL HAZARD:DOWNSTREAM GUARDWALL ARMOR CHOUTEAU L&D No. 17, NM 401.4 

Mariners are advised to use caution when transitioning around the downstream miter gate recess area due to damage and missing armor on the left descending wall. A 6-foot section of steel armor plating is missing and the protection for the concrete corner is now fully exposed. Mariners are advised to  favor the right descending wall until further notice. Waterway users are asked to check with Lock No. 17 for the latest information.
