TD 2026-8.1, Construction Activities Lock 14 Upper Approach

USE CAUTION WHILE TRANSITING NM 319.9, W.D. MAYO UPPER LOCK APPROACH DUE TO CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES LEFT DESCENDING CHANNEL.
Mariners are advised to use extreme caution while transiting the upper approach area of W.D. Mayo Lock and Dam 14 NM 319.9. Contractor will resume construction activities starting 07/11/2026 and ending 7/17/2026, 0600-1800 daily. Contractor will be conducting drilling operations on the left descending channel side of the upper approach.
Construction activities are contingent upon river flow conditions. For further information regarding these operations contact W.D. Recreational Lockage Policy

Locking at 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 on the Oklahoma portion of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System is available to recreational boaters 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
