Park Closure Update

All boat ramps are now open on Skiatook Lake.  All campgrounds are open except Tall Chief Cove campground.  The project will open the campground as soon as possible.

Park Closure Update

Tall Chief Campground will be closed for the Memorial Day Holiday due to the current water level and necessary clean up as the water begins to recede.  All reservations will be refunded and the lake staff will continue to monitor the area and determine when the park can safely reopen. 
Closures Due To High Water

The following facilities are closed:

Tall Chief - Entrance is closed, high water has inundated all camping loops.  Possible two week closure or longer.  Project will need to assess damage and clean-up time to determine what can be reopened and when.  Boat Ramp.

Osage - Entrance road, Courtesy Dock and Boat Ramp.

Blackdog - Fishing Dock, both Courtesy Docks and the Ramp loop road.

Hominy Landing - Courtesy dock and Boat Ramp.

Bull Creek - Camping Loop, Courtesy Dock and Boat Ramp.

Twin Points - Courtesy Dock.

Skiatook Point - Courtesy Dock and Boat Ramp.

Blackdog Boat Ramp is the only ramp open on the lake.

If you have a camping reservation you will be given a full refund, which can take 4-6 weeks to process. Please be patient as our Rangers and staff are performing flood duties.


Please use caution if you must get out on the lakes as numerous hazards may be just below the surface of the water.
