Effective December 1, 2024
The Tulsa District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tenkiller Lake has scheduled the Robert S. Kerr campground closures of Applegate, Short Mountain, and Cowling beginning December 1.
The gates will remain open for Boat Ramp Use Only. These campgrounds will reopen on March 1st.
Seasonal closures are in place for the efficient stewardship of public recreation facilities during times of the lowest visitation, and to reduce the high costs of waterline breaks during freezing weather.
