    Fort Worth contractor receives award for safety record at Pantex

    The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers named the High Explosives Pressing Facility (HEPF), Pantex, Plant, Texas as the top safety construction project for 2012 and winner of the Eagle Eye Construction Safety Program Award. The Eagle Eye winners are the Kiewit Builders Group of Fort Worth, Texas, for Contractor of the Year, the USACE Pantex Resident Office for Construction Office of the Year, and Donnie Lankford, Tulsa District, Pantex Resident Office, for Construction Representative of the Year.
  • Corps of Engineers transfers 600 acres of land to City of Denison, Tex.

    In a ceremony held at Lake Texoma recently, a commemorative document celebrating the transfer of 600 acres of Lake Texoma shoreline to the City of Denison, TX ., was signed by Congressman Ralph Hall Texas 4th District, Jared Johnson, Mayor, City of Denison, Brig. Gen. Thomas Kula and Developer George Schuler.

    Col. Michael Teague, Tulsa District commander recognized 17 graduates from the Hydropower Training Program during a recent graduation ceremony held at the Keystone Lake powerhouse.
