    Engineering Challenge lets professional engineers share real-world experience

    Engineers involved with the Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) outreach program volunteered their time and expertise at the 25th Tulsa Engineering Challenge, March 8 at the Tulsa Technology Center. The idea was to get the students interested in engineering through a fun event and let them interact with engineers and see that they are creative people whose work makes a difference in the world.
  • 2013 Leadership Development Program Kicks Off

    The Leadership Development Program II (LDP) held its official 2013 kick off meeting January 22 and 23, 2013 at the Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District Office. The program provides a means for developing and enhancing leadership skills to better meet the changing needs of the USACE.
  • Operation War Fighter in Tulsa District

    The Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in partnership with the U.S. Army Community Based Warrior Transition Unit at Camp Robinson, Arkansas, participate in a program that allows returning Soldiers that are in some way wounded to return home while they continue their medical care. During their recovery, the Operation War Fighter Program allows the soldier to work at a sponsoring Federal Agency such as the Tulsa District.
