TULSA – Despite rumors, all U.S. Army Corps of Engineers parks and boat ramps at Tenkiller Lake are open and available for use and for reservation by calling the Reservation Service at 1-877-444-6777 or visiting www.recreation.gov.

Despite rumors, all U.S. Army Corps of Engineers parks and boat ramps at Tenkiller Lake are open and available for use and for reservation by calling the Reservation Service at 1-877-444-6777 or visiting .

The only exception is Elk Creek which is still first-come-first-serve until June 12. After that date, it will be available for reservations.

Due to recent flooding in the parks, not all campsites are available. As maintenance is completed, more sites will become available.

Tenkiller Lake is still three feet above normal. Boaters are urged to use caution while operating on the lake because floating debris may present a hazard. As always, boaters are encouraged to wear a life jacket.
