Published Nov. 11, 2011

TULSA – Officials with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, say recent tests indicate that the blue-green algae warnings at Lake Texoma must remain in effect. The latest results received today indicate the continuing presence of harmful algae at levels high enough to warrant the warnings. The warning level means that harmful algae is present, the water is considered to have adverse health effects, and that contact with water is prohibited.
