    The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today the temporary closure of two boat ramps and the placement of new buoys on the west end of Skiatook Lake at Twin Points and Hominy Landing recreation areas due to low water levels brought on by the continuing drought.

    The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that the roadway across the Pine Creek Dam embankment, Tommy Taylor Trail, will close to traffic at 8:00 a.m., Monday, February 2, 2015 for modification of the dam and outlet works. The bridge will reopen approximately May 2016.

Allen Ryan has been named Operations Project Manager and Area Manager for the Northern Area Office, Dean Roberts has been named Operations Project Manager for the Fort Gibson area, Jonathan Polk has been named the lake manager for Fort Gibson, and Lee Perry has been named lake manager for the Skiatook Lake Office.
